The Role

We’re looking for a Part-time Photographer/Retoucher to join our Creative Team. You will play a crucial role in managing our eCommerce/product photography and post-production while creating high-quality content for Tangle Teezer in our in-house studio.

This is a part-time role, working 2 days per week, with Wednesdays being required.

In This Role You’ll Get To

Be our go-to eCommerce Photographer, specialising in flat lay, lifestyle, and pack shots, bringing our products to life through high-quality digital photography and professional lighting.
Manage a successful eComm studio, including the setup and takedown of studio/lighting setups.
Lead and assist on photographic shoots.
Handle post-production by editing, retouching, recolouring, and resizing imagery in line with brand guidelines.
Perform quality control checks on images to ensure consistency and brand standards.
Maintain and organise imagery assets on our servers.
Manage multiple product imagery deadlines, ensuring smooth workflow communication across internal teams.
Help build and arrange sets in advance of shoots, preparing props, and decorating sets as required.
Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Stay aware of new trends in social media, still and video content, and find ways to apply them to the brand.
Support and assist the team with campaigns.

What We Are Looking For In You

Proficiency in software such as Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, and the Adobe Suite.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
A natural creative with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.
A self-motivated team player.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
The ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable shooting low-fi iPhone lifestyle content.
Comfortable filming office-based content (e.g., asking the team questions).
Able to edit content within apps, with a particular focus on TikTok.
Comfortable using Canva.
Prop styling experience would be a plus.
