GD Geonka Public School, Kolkata, is seeking an experienced and dynamic
Admin Manager to oversee and manage all administrative operations at our Dumdum campus. The Admin Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the school’s day-to-day activities, coordinating staff, maintaining records, and implementing policies that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the school’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administrative activities of the school, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of operations.
- Manage and supervise a team of administrative staff and ensure they adhere to school policies and procedures.
- Handle student admissions, maintain records, and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Develop, implement, and manage administrative systems and processes to improve overall productivity and compliance.
- Coordinate with academic, non-academic, and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Act as a liaison between the school, parents, and external vendors.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment for the school.
- Ensure compliance with all local education regulations and policies.
- Handle communication with teachers, parents, and students on day-to-day operational matters.
- Assist in organizing events, meetings, and school functions as required.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and financial records for school operations.
- Monitor and maintain school facilities and ensure they are in top condition.
Qualifications And Skills
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in school administration or related field.
- Proven leadership and management experience in an educational environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of school management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving attitude and proactive approach to handling operational challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or any relevant field (Master's preferred).
