SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To efficiently manage inventory, overseeing warehouse operations, and ensure compliance with RIL's safety standards. Also responsible for optimizing storage space, coordinate for dispatch processes, and implement safety protocols to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Facilitate seamless collaboration with the logistics team to optimize vehicle placements for the efficient dispatch of products.
- Conduct regular inspections of all installed equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Facilitate coordination with the team to effectively allocate sufficient storage space ensuring streamlined organization of products within the warehouse.
- Ensure daily production receipts are accurately posted in SAP, EWM, WMS, and TAS after physical verification.
- Maintain standard cycle time for dispatch-related activities, utilizing automation and IT knowledge for product labeling, barcoding, RFID, scanners, etc.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date inventory records, following daily dispatch plans, and executing order processes in SAP, EWM, and WMS.
- Coordinate truck calls through SAP functions, ensuring correct sales order, material availability, and compliance with SOPs.
- Participate in audits, such as IMS audit and third-party audits, by sharing information, documentation, and compliance procedures.
Inventory Management
- Perform physical inventory verification to ensure utmost product care and prevent any potential damages or losses during the process.
- Monitor and update inventory data in SAP's extended warehouse management system to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.
- Prepare routine stock reports and daily stock positions, overseeing MRN and TRN processes, while efficiently supervising Truck Order Linking activities.
- Manage the Exports of Solids and Liquids, ensuring meticulous handling of physical removal and the self-sealing Process to maintain product integrity and safety.
- Monitor daily damages of Finished Product, maintaining records for preventive measures and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Workplace Safety & Environment
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and address equipment-related hazards promptly by notifying the maintenance team.
- Oversee any fire, leak, spillage or safety incident which may potentially lead to injury or loss of production, and take appropriate action to mitigate such risks.
- Review cases of any potential safety, fire and environmental issues/ hazards, identify root cause and take appropriate steps to mitigate any challenges.
- Monitor contractor staff and truck drivers for unsafe acts/conditions, conducting safety audits and adhering to safety protocols.
- Track all compliance/ legal norms and documentations required from safety, fire and environmental point of view and ensure up to date filing of the same.

Education Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Science (any stream)
Experience (Must Have & Good To Have)
- 8-10 years of experience with preferred experience in petrochemicals and chemicals industry
