This position is responsible for managing the activities within the Finance function in a multinational OEM's Dubai office. The position will report directly to the Finance Head for the Middle East Africa region. The incumbent will provide advice and counsel to business leaders, as well as business insight and functional guidance. Assuming the role of a business partner within the organization, the candidate will develop and enhance the finance capability in financial planning, analysis, and controllership to support the business growth of the multinational OEM.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and financial expertise to identify opportunities for ongoing growth and margin expansion.
- Work closely with business leaders to deliver essential financial counsel, support decision-making, and conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis to drive profitable and sustainable business growth and improve operational productivity.
- Lead annual AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRP (Long Range Planning) processes, providing accurate and meaningful financial information along with interpretive, value-added guidance in addition to standard reporting and data compilation required for the business to achieve its financial objectives.
- Ensure appropriate processes are in place for accurate forecasting of sales, costs, working capital, fixed capital investments, and return on investment.
- Oversee credit and collection initiatives to enforce credit policies throughout the organization and ensure timely collections are made.
- Take responsibility for improving process efficiency and implementing cost control measures within the organization.
- Ensure corporate reporting requirements are met in a timely manner and in compliance with relevant GAAP standards, as well as local statutory and tax requirements, while also adhering to components of Sarbanes-Oxley, especially FICAP, SIC, SOX, and FCPA.
- Verify that evolving finance policies and procedures align with organizational standards and detect deviations to enhance local control.
- Ensure all project recording and treatment (including bookings, revenue, costs, etc.) comply with relevant policies, Letters of Agreement (LOA), and processes.
- Support other ad hoc financial professional tasks and projects in the Dubai region.

Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, Accountancy, or an equivalent business course.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance, including at least 4 years in a Finance Controller role.
- Strong understanding of sales office business, commercial operations, and corporate processes.
- Solid understanding of business systems and leveraging these systems to enhance functional efficiencies.
- Expertise in high-level financial reporting and analysis.
- High capability in financial strategy, including risk minimization and opportunity forecasting.
- Experience in credit and debt management.
- Must be adaptable and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and effectively communicate and collaborate across the organization.
