Job Description
Here at Energym, we're on a mission to revolutionise the fitness industry through our groundbreaking clean-tech products and we're on the lookout for a talented Junior Design Engineer to support the Product team in designing, developing and implementing new products, alongside supporting design engineering on existing products.
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-day
- You'll support the Product team in designing and developing new products that will shape the future of clean energy.
- You'll work with the team to create products that are more than just visually appealing; they will be user-oriented, sustainable, and aligned with our mission to promote a greener and healthier world.
- Fabricating and testing prototypes, assessing the viability of new concepts and technologies that will energise the fitness industry.
- Contributing towards the creation of product technical documentation and documentation for manufacturing.
- You'll join our multi-disciplinary team of passionate engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with top-notch quality.
Qualifications
- Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BEng or BSc in a relevant engineering discipline
- A great creative problem-solver, able to generate innovative solutions to complex engineering problems
- Experience in electro/mechanical consumer products
- Experience and knowledge of design for plastics, metals, and composite materials
- Experience in developing plastic injection moulded components and enclosures for mass manufacture.
- You're creative and enthusiastic about tackling challenging projects, which drives you to explore new technologies
- You thrive in a collaborative environment while also being capable of working autonomously
- 3D CAD experience (We use SolidWorks).
