Aviation Loader
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading Cargo: Safely load and unload luggage, cargo, and other items from aircraft.
- Handling Equipment: Operate and maintain ground support equipment (e.g., tugs, conveyor belts, forklifts).
- Cargo Sorting: Ensure proper sorting, labeling, and handling of goods as per airline requirements.
- Weight Distribution: Ensure correct weight distribution and securement of cargo for safe flight.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and regulations during all loading and unloading activities.
- Aircraft Support: Assist with boarding and deboarding operations, including the placement of stairs and handling boarding equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and safety protocols.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required.
Working Conditions:
- Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Working in an airport environment with constant movement.
