Note: Job location is in Dubai. A full relocation package will be provided.
Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and pre-cooking, ensuring all preparation is done efficiently and to a high standard.
Cooking and Plating: Take charge of cooking certain dishes or components within a section of the kitchen, ensuring food is cooked to perfection, meets presentation standards, and is delivered on time.
Station Management: Manage a specific station within the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry), ensuring cleanliness, organization, and the smooth flow of work.
Quality Control: Maintain the consistency of food quality by following recipes and ensuring dishes meet standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
Assist Senior Chefs: Work closely with the Chef de Partie to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly. Assist with training and mentoring junior staff (Commi 1).
Stock Control: Monitor inventory for your assigned section, assist with stock rotation, and report shortages or waste to the Chef de Partie.
Cleaning and Hygiene: Ensure kitchen and work areas are kept clean and sanitary, following all health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to ensure orders are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, and support colleagues during busy service periods.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure food is stored, prepared, and served in compliance with all safety and hygiene regulations.
