Measure, cut, and assemble the shuttering frames used for pouring concrete. • Read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings to determine the size and shape of the shuttering needed. • Inspect the constructed forms to ensure they are accurately assembled and non-defective. • Erect and dismantle all types of shuttering and scaffolding as required for various concrete structures and foundations. • Apply waterproofing and release agents to shuttering to ensure the smooth release of concrete. • Work closely with other construction team members, including steel fixers and concrete workers to ensure that the form-work is correctly positioned and secured. • Perform maintenance and repair on form-work materials to ensure their longevity and reuse. • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the construction site. Essential Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter, preferably in the UAE construction sector. • Basic education or vocational training in carpentry or a related field. • Knowledge of different types of form-work systems and materials used in shuttering.
