Areas of responsibilities:
· Able to lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve maximum performance.
· Hire, train, schedule, and manage team members.
· Oversee all daily operations of the maintenance department; including slides/pools, grounds, and facilities (Toilets / Showers / Lockers / F&B Outlets / Cabanas, others), Water Quality, Water RO Desalination Plant and others.
· Prepare and implement a preventive maintenance plan and schedule.
· Manage spending budget of the maintenance department.
· Utilize effectively and efficiently the in-house working force and expertise.
· Contractor negotiation and supervisory experience to oversee capital improvement projects.
· Inspection of all slides to be incompliance with State/ Slide manufacturer requirements.
· Actively support all park operating policies and procedures and all relative local, State and Federal regulations pertaining to the operation.
· Coordinates the documentation of coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.
· Oversight for all cleanliness and organization of all Maintenance Department areas, stores and warehouses.
· Evaluates the needs for supplies and equipment for the Maintenance Department.
Qualification and requirements:
· Candidate must show willingness to accept the most effective role.
· Must have working knowledge of maintenance/construction, familiarities with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures including plumbing / carpentry / HAVAC / Electro-Mechanical / Painting / others.
· Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
· Must be able to read, understand and implement maintenance and inspection procedures.
· Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in experience
· Certified Pool Operator or willing to attain
· Must have a valid UAE Driver’s License
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, working 50+ hours per week in season
