Role:
This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Job Responsibilities
- System Development and Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for the Management Reporting Function. Aim to minimize manual intervention and process time while ensuring adherence to company guidelines and standards.
- Monthly and Periodical Financial Closures: Oversee the monthly and periodical closure of books of accounts to align with reporting timelines. Produce accurate and timely monthly management reports.
- Accounting Management: Manage all end-to-end accounting functions for Kleindienst Group. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Chart of Accounts Management: Administer the Chart of Accounts. Propose modifications to align with business changes and improve financial reporting.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit execution. Support other departments to mitigate operational delays and ensure audit readiness.
- Financial Reporting and Tax Supervision: Generate monthly financial reports. Supervise the Tax Team to ensure timely VAT filing and implementation of Corporate Tax policies.
- ERP Implementation Coordination: Collaborate with ERP consultants for the implementation of Dynamics 365 for newly established companies. Ensure the system meets the organization’s needs and integrates smoothly with existing processes.
- Bank Coordination: Liaise with banks to secure new facilities required by the business. Manage relationships and ensure that banking needs are met efficiently.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications.
- Professional Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. ACCA, CA will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in financial management, with at least 5 years in the UAE’s Construction and Real Estate Development sector.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software: Strong proficiency in Dynamics 365 or any other accounting software.
- Knowledge of VAT & Corporate Tax: Deep understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and compliance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to handle work pressure and execute tasks within tight deadlines.
