As a Pump Room Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of pump systems in the facility. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the operations in Jubail.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pumps and associated systems to ensure optimal performance in the facility
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pump equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Adjust and control pumping parameters to maintain desired flow rates and pressure levels
- Document and report any abnormalities in operations, maintenance activities, or equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices while operating pump equipment
- Collaborate with other operators and team members to coordinate activities and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in safety training and drills to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in a related field is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pump Room Operator in the oil and gas or industrial sector
- Strong understanding of pump systems, operations, and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in pump operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team
- Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule and in a dynamic environment
