Role Description:
As a Product Manager with focus on building the B2B SaaS platforms, the candidate will be responsible for ideating, designing and driving the development and management of our B2B platform, inclusive of the B2B BBPS stack, payments and financing workflows. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, operations and customer support to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of our products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Documentation: Accurately understand and document business requirements, describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, and potential value-add for the user and organization.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
- Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop and launch new products and features. Ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards. Conduct daily sync-up with relevant teams to track progress on a daily basis.
- User Experience: Collaborate with the design and development team to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. Advocate for the customer and ensure their needs are met throughout by the product.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, define requirements, and prioritize features. Ensure alignment and buy-in from all parties.
- Technical Knowledge & API Management: Possess knowledge of tech stacks and APIs with hands-on experience in designing, running and delivering APIs.
- Product Quality Validation: Validate product quality and the final delivered outcome against the provided requirements and monitor feature adoption rate after Go live.
- Performance Monitoring: Track product performance against key metrics. Use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Payments & Financing Industry Expertise: Have prior understanding and build a deep understanding of payments infrastructure including cards, net-banking, UPI and BBPS as well as invoice discounting, vendor financing & lending workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience of 5 to 6 years of product management in the fintech industry, with a mandatory prior experience in B2B / accounting SaaS and supply-chain workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of B2B supply chain, accounting, financing, payments, fintech and banking industry trends and technologies.
