We are looking for a
Hotel Manager who will fill a key leadership role with an industry-recognized leader in hospitality. He/She will skillfully oversee the hotel's overall operation to achieve planned goals ensuring operational integrity as measured by revenue, house profit and guest satisfaction while maintaining company standards for quality assurance, asset protection, associate satisfaction, and exceeding guest expectations.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Effectively manage owners' assets with an on-going focus on maximizing returns
- Comply with the company's standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures as required
- Manages all operational departments, including rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering, and other operating departments. Ensures all departments are profitable and maintain strong working relationships
- Participate in the creation of the hotel's annual budget and monitor the Hotels performance throughout the year/season
- Manages the hotel through a "hands-on approach", motivating employees, ensuring employee development and retention
- A leading by example approach when it comes to expressing a sincere interest about guests and employees well-being
- Ensure outstanding guest service and adherence to all brand standards
- Protect the hotel and its assets by enforcing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program
- Cultivate an inclusive workplace, rooted in fairness and respect, where all colleagues feel valued for who they are and are encouraged to actively participate in their property's culture and success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality/Tourism. A Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Industry or an MBA is a plus
- 3 years' minimum experience as a Hotel Manager in a Luxury Resort
- Luxury Lifestyle & personal wellbeing experience a must
- Property industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
- Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Excellent MS Office, strong email, PC and internet skills
- Very good knowledge of hotel management software is an essential
- Proven leadership skills, be results oriented
- Customer focused, quality driven, superior organizational and follow up skills with a strong eye to detail
- Clear decision-making and problem-solving practices
- Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
