We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer(s) to join our team and spearhead our ECU, Infotainment Display Sales or domain controllers throughout Europe.
Position Overview
The Junior Business Developer will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence in the automotive sector focusing on your specialty within Vestel Mobility. In this role you will be connecting with your colleagues and grow from more operational sales towards a tactical and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate has a 1-3 years of experience in sales/business development, would like to grow in the automotive industry and a passion for technology. You’re a critical thinker, have a growth mindset and are a relationship builder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on sales proposals to achieve revenue targets for your domain.
- Support and make proposals for sales strategies to achieve revenue targets together with senior colleagues. Discuss strategies with your senior colleagues/manager.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry.
- Under guidance of your more senior colleagues you will build and maintain strong relationships with the responsible teams at the OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other key stakeholders. With an initial focus on European based customers.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the product development team to build and maintain a distinguishing product portfolio meeting market demands and beyond.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Give support in the negotiation of contracts. You’re supporting to close deals with clients.
- Represent Vestel Mobility at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development or sales within the automotive (or equivalent) industry.
- English languages skills, German and/or French would be a bonus.
- Basic knowledge of the automotive systems on your specific domain (ECU, displays or domain controllers).
- Willingness to learn and grow within your role towards a business developer.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Eligible to work in EU, so a EU work/residence permit in one of the mentioned locations would be necessary.
