Meirc Training & Consulting – Dubai Branch is looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily accounting tasks. The selected applicant will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
The selected applicant will be based in Dubai, reporting to the Head of Finance & HR Department.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Job description/ role:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist with reviewing of expenses as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with other accounting projects
Here's what we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university
- Fluency in English. Arabic is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an accountant
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Candidate must be a UAE Resident
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
