Your mission in a few words
The main mission of the Area Manager for Southern Italy is to convey the business plan to the customers in the assigned region and ensure that the objectives are met.
What would you do?
- Channel and distributor analysis to strengthen and increase market share, customer loyalty, and brand consolidation in Southern Italy.
- Aligning commercial objectives with the specific needs of the customers in the region.
- Coordinating with the commercial management to establish a strategic business plan in areas with potential for sales volume growth.
- Achieving sales and profitability targets for assigned accounts (increasing net sales, contribution margin, and improving product mix).
- Preparing the annual Account Plan for assigned customers in Southern Italy.
- Analyzing deviations from the customer plan and implementing corrective actions on the P&L of the accounts.
- Collaborating with operations, marketing, billing, and R&D to meet objectives for each customer.
- Maintaining and enhancing communication with the purchasing managers of target accounts.
- Conducting annual negotiations for pricing templates, price increases, the introduction of new products, and necessary adjustments.
- Designing, presenting, and following up on promotional actions to increase sales.
The Baker we’re looking for
- Academic background: Degree in Business, Economics, Business Administration, and/or Engineering. A Master's in Sales or Marketing is highly desirable.
- Language skills: Native Italian and fluent English (B2) are essential; Spanish is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years managing in the sector is required.
- Technical expertise: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Core strengths: analytical skills, proven negotiation expertise, results-driven, influential and persuasive, excellent resource management, proactive attitude, and strong conflict resolution abilities.
