Job Summary:
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing the planning and execution of events. This role involves building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional event experiences that align with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their event needs and expectations.
- Conduct consultations with clients to develop tailored event proposals and solutions.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure successful event delivery.
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial goals.
- Provide cost estimates and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for events.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to increase event visibility and attendance.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends.
- Team Leadership:
- Train and mentor junior sales staff and event coordinators.

Qualifications:
