Job Purpose:
This role requires execution for Suppy Planning majorly related to ID Business. It includes collaborating in the supply planning process , with a focus on achieving targeted service levels, optimizing inventory and managing SLOBs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive production plans and prepare weekly schedule.
- Monitor weekly plan and follow up with Production department
- Prepare & communicate production compliance / non-compliance sheet on weekly basis to stakeholders.
- Support in developing and implementing comprehensive supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capabilities, and lead times monitor weekly plan and follow up with Production department & subcontracting vendors.
- Prepare & communicate production compliance / non-compliance sheet on weekly basis to stakeholders.
- Prepare SKU-Wise production priority report of products not available for sale.
- Plan to avoid excessive changeovers on machines based on SKU format and formulation.
- Prepare weekly production plan (POs on SAP) for review by Line Manager.
- Communicate weekly Production Plan to Production, Stores, Procurement and Quality Control teams for on-time execution.
- Contingency planning to maintain optimum level of KPI(s) i.e., S&OP Compliance, Production Compliance and Changeover Reduction
- Communicate/report shortages of material with pending order deliveries based on Master Production Schedule.
- Convert Material Requirement Plan (MRP) data to process orders & purchase orders in SAP and check total requirement of SKUs.
- Conduct final check on availability of SFG and packaging material. (Cumulative Requirement for Packaging & SFG).
- Communicate SFG and packaging material shortages to Back Process Planning and Procurement teams to eliminate possibility of production loss.
- Communicate with QC team and set priorities in case of delays in raw and packaging material release.
- Monitor Monthly Sales Forecast Status to achieve planned volumes by the 20th of every month.
- Prepare production compliance report with non-compliance reasoning to review progress.
- Communicate the production priorities to production team for resource allocation.
- Work as a back up for planner for local business.
- Work in special projects assigned by the functional/departmental head.
Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with atleast 2-3 years of experience
