Role Summary:
This role will be a part of the central Marketing team for Swiggy (This role is remote. However one week a month you will be expected to be in Bangalore) driving marketing for Swiggy Instamart. The ideal candidate should have exposure in the consumer marketing domain, having managed marketing campaign planning and execution. We are looking forward to a self-starter - innovative, driven and a team player, preferably with experience working in a data driven environment in Ecommerce.
About Swiggy Instamart:
Swiggy Instamart was launched in 2020 with the aim of extending Swiggy’s vision of hyperlocal convenience in the grocery space. The brand has seen great early traction with consumers and is on a fast growth trajectory with plans to expand the service to more cities in the coming months. In the coming years, we expect to be a significant player in the e-grocery market that’s currently pegged at 3Bn USD with our differentiated product offerings and unique 10 minute delivery promises.
Job Description:
- Drive the marketing communications in line with traffic, acquisition goals of the brand and lead planning, execution and reporting for the charter
- Work closely with the growth and category functions to aid in execution of BTL-specific brand and category campaigns
- Liaise with social media team to own social media presence for Instamart, ensuring consistent visibility and relevant communication to aid brand visibility and engagement
- Assist in execution and report results from surveys, polls, and other market research for the brand
- Assist the team for ATL campaigns in terms of liasing with cross-functional teams such as Agency, Creative, Research, Growth etc.
- Vendor/Agency management - maintain relationships through regular contact, liaise with Finance for initiation and execution of registration, purchase orders, payments etc.
Desired Skills:
- 3 years of experience in the marketing function preferably in the consumer domain
- Full time MBA or Masters from a premium business school is compulsory
- Prior experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns across different online/offline mediums is critical
- Experience in stakeholder management and working closely with creative agencies is desirable
- He/she should have a sound understanding of basic marketing concepts and demonstrate consumer first thinking along with data-driven decision making
- Strong language skills : written and oral
