Job Description
- Code Inpatient/Outpatient and day care discharges using coding classification and TIH guidelines.
- Prepare standard reports from coded/abstract data provided under the supervision of coding Assistant Manager.
- Participates in client audit meetings to enhance accuracy of coding and rectifies anomalies in the existing abstract.
- Update histopathalogy of coded charts daily.
- Monthly update daycare and inpatient discharges reports
- Monthly update discharges report on the basis of specialty.
- Trace and code all medical record folders that were not coded on every next day.
- Trace and code backlog discharges.
- Any other task that is assigned by the Head/Assistant Manager coding.
