Driver Hire (Torbay) is looking for van drivers (Category B) to support our clients in Newton Abbot and across South Devon. If you're seeking flexible, ad-hoc work or steady, full-time driving roles with vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, we'd love to hear from you!
Role Highlights
- Shift Start Times: Ranges from 04:00 to 09:00, with shifts lasting until tasks are completed.
- Hourly Pay: £13.06 to £17.12 per hour, with weekend shifts available.
- Payment Options: PAYE ADV and other structures to suit your needs.
- Consistent Income: Weekly payments keep your cash flow steady.
- Training Opportunities: Discounted CPC training for drivers wanting to upgrade to a 7.5T license.
- Flexible Work Hours: Part-time and full-time schedules are available based on your preferences.
Key Requirements
- Licence: Valid Category B driving license.
- Driving Record: Up to 6 penalty points accepted (no DR, DD, or IN convictions due to insurance).
- Physical Capability: Able to manage lifting and vehicle manoeuvring.
- Transportation: Reliable transport to commute to assignments.
- Communication: Active mobile phone for on-the-job updates.
