SAFETY OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct internal HSE inspections onboard of vessels / Fields
Deliver HSE induction and training onboard of vessels.
Keep updated HSE procedures for the specific tasks
Supervise HSE procedures implementation in the operative sites
Ensure effective implementation of Life Saving Rules
Spread HSE rules / standards / procedures / bulletins on site
Ensure that relevant safety risk assessments are complied with and that Job Safety Analysis are prepared during the operations
Promote safe operative techniques and methodologies for the planning, safety control (i.e. JSA)
Ensure adequate HSE reporting in line with Company procedures
Inspect subcontractors’ activities
Control compliance of the equipment utilized on site
Monitor the effective implementation of the Permit to Work system on site
Prepare and administer HSE Key Performance Indicators for the operational activities
Assist in the investigation of accidents and analysis in order to identify trends and propose the necessary corrective measures
Monitor and maintain control measures in the use of hazardous materials
Supervise Environmental aspect on site, supporting key personnel

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelor’s Degree
Offshore Experience of 01 Year _ Minimum
Onshore Experience of 05+ Years _ Minimum
NEBOSH IGC.
Professional Membership Certification ASP/CSP/GSP or CRSP or OHST/CHST or MIIRSM/FIIRSM or TECHIOSH/CERTIOSH/CMIOSH
Previous Offshore Saudi Aramco approval “ Preferable”
BOSIET, H2S.
BLS, First Aid from American Heart / Saudi Heart Association.
