Logistics Officer - GSIC - Dammam
The Position
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Officer to join Galadari Saudi Industrial Co. in Dammam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics within the heavy commercial vehicle industry, excellent communication skills in English, and relevant certifications. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistics operations to ensure the efficient and effective flow of goods, supporting the business's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics, including shipment coordination, delivery scheduling and inventory management.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, registration and compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all logistics documentation; maintain thorough transaction records.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers; negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure parts and equipment availability.
- Oversee import/export processes, ensuring customs compliance.
- Generate logistics performance reports and identify areas for process improvements.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Team player, with great stakeholder relationships
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, ideally within the heavy commercial vehicles or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
