Job Purpose
This position requires an experienced professional who can understand E2E supply chain processes. The job encompasses everything from strategic planning, to data analysis, to personnel management, as well as procurement and overseeing logistics and supply chain operations for the factory. This role is responsible establishing collaborative approach with Factory Production Team, Central Planning and Procurement team, Coordination with RMPM Suppliers, transporters & Finance and IT teams for resolution of cross-functional short term supply chain related issues,
Person should take work ownership, having responsible behaviour with growth mindset & cost effective approach in all work he does on this role. The candidate should be instrumental in driving controls for factory and should be having working knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Key Responsibilities - Supply Chain Executive:
- Plan and monitor material availability to ensure that the required materials are procured according as per the plan and able to be expedited delivery whenever necessary
- Liaise with logistics service provider/transporter to resolve any shipment related issues.
- Manage monthly inventory targets including safety stock level.
- Provide production requirements to production department, based on weekly production plan received from central planner
- Prepare & communicate weekly inventory tagging report for tech eff review & do analysis of high/low tech eff
- To play a proactive role in ensuring that timely and accurate planning of RM/PM/Consumables happen and quality cleared stocks can be handed over to production department as per weekly production plans.
- Coordination with Quality and Production Department for uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Monthly Inventory, BOM, New SKU Network reviews with respective stakeholders.
- Ensure 100% material availability as per weekly production plan & Zero stocks out situation & No Write offs (Business Waste)
- To share weekly production plan and compliance report with all stakeholders
- Discuss with supply planners on the total production plan and phasing of daily production plans as per the factory’s production line capacity.
- Responsible to manage the supply chain for factory operations.
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring contract management and the quality of service provided.
- Check invoices against source documents and correct any errors.
- Produce reports and statistics, review performance and identify cost-saving possibilities.
- Handling Job work & External Warehouse operations
- Reconcile additional costs for inbound raw material logistics & take approvals
- Process and resolve any supply/logistics provider complaints.
- Support IT function and raise concern with respective stakeholders to resolve the same.
- Check Daily Arrivals, Ensure timely FG booking, timely RM PM offloading and GRN
- Support Unit SC manager in data analysis and other supply chain related operations.

- Lead, motivate and empower employees through effective & open communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback, and team building in order to maximize team productivity & uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Create a positive and collaborative team environment by setting and regularly reviewing the achievement of team goals.
- Provide regular information and reports to factory leadership team as required.
- Plan and conduct regular coaching sessions with each employee or subcontractor – where appropriate and allowed, including transaction monitoring, documentation and follow up.
- Provide immediate feedback to employees in order to act upon learning opportunities following operational exceptions or discrepancies or other incidents.
- Encourage employees to take ownership of and to utilize their skills for betterment of the company.
- Conduct employee counselling and disciplinary actions if required.
