We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in accounting a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, and a strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrutinize and analyze ledgers and trial balances to ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage and coordinate audit processes, fostering effective relationships with auditors to address queries and meet expectations.
- Implement, adjust, and record entries in accounting software, ensuring seamless integration of financial data.
- Prepare and review audit schedules, critically analyzing historical data for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and manage non-IFRS adjustments as required.
- Assist in internal consolidation processes to ensure accurate reporting across multiple entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and reporting.
- Ensure timely closure of financial statements for Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
- Handle various administrative and secretarial responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
- Experience: 3 + years of experience in accounting and audit, preferably within the logistics and supply chain sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
