The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting financial planning activities. This role involves managing accounting staff, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax laws.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Automate and streamline accounting procedures where possible to improve productivity and reduce errors.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 -9 years of progressive accounting experience in managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Dynamic Business Central systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
