About the Job:
We are excited to offer an internship opportunity across multiple departments at Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Front Office, Housekeeping, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Culinary, and more.
In this dynamic role, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting with guest interactions and ensuring a positive experience, in line with Jumeirah’s service standards.
- Anticipating and responding to guest needs or requests, ensuring that all customer inquiries are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Supporting team members in carrying out day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow in your respective department.
- Identifying opportunities for service enhancement, whether through proactive guest engagement, process improvements, or departmental support.
- Maintaining high standards of quality in every task you undertake, ensuring that all activities align with company policies and procedures.
- Resolving guest concerns and issues, escalating them to the appropriate department if necessary, and taking appropriate actions within your level of responsibility.
- Representing the brand by embodying Jumeirah’s values and professionalism in all interactions with guests and team members.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Prior internship in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- A student in a Hospitality school or a recent graduate.
- Fluent in English and an additional international language is a plus.
- Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
