We Are Looking For Someone To Join The Creative Team At The Heart Of The Council, Who Has The Following Skills And Experience:
- Strong design skills with professional experience delivering both print and digital products.
- A good understanding of accessibility in design
- Highly organised and flexible to manage multiple design briefs
- Confident collaborating and communicating in a professional environment
- Confident following processes to ensure high levels of accuracy
- Committed to learning new skills and incorporating the latest innovations into your work
What to expect from the role?
The Varied Nature Of This Role Means That No Week Will Ever Be The Same. To Highlight The Variety, We’ve Shared a Few Tasks To Give You a Flavour:
- Providing design advice to inform a new creative brief
- Creating an illustration-based social media graphic for a community event
- Designing an accessible and engaging report for print and digital publishing
- Working with signage suppliers to oversee a complex signage order
- Designing some pull-up banners for Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
- Supporting senior designers with generating ideas for a major campaign
- Typesetting a survey and creating maps for an upcoming transport consultation

What The Team Does
Bristol Design support a range of council teams, by providing appropriate printed and digital materials to make sure they can communicate clearly with people. The services we support include sustainable travel, regeneration, museums, culture and public health.
