Job Title: Creative Art Worker
Duration: 6th January until the 31st March 2025
Day Rate: £200 - 230 via UMBRELLA or LTD - the role falls outside IR35
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 8hr/day (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Job Purpose
Reporting into the Senior Graphic Designer, this role will require a close working relationship with the Creative Media Department Brand team. Creating technical artworks and guidelines for global advertising campaigns and top end printed collateral, the successful candidate will become a recognized technical authority on print and digital collateral for Creative Media. Being part of the brand team will also be a valuable experience to understand and contribute to the wider projects undertaken by a multidisciplinary department. Alternative projects across Brand include bespoke packaging briefs, event and experience design, and an assortment of collaborations with the wider fashion and marketing departments.
Description
- Support the Beauty creative team with the creation of campaign layouts for: Print, POS, and OOH, from kick-off to delivery (upcoming KCP/Fragrance/Makeup Campaigns).
- Review and approve licensee/agency cropping guidelines for advertising campaigns (Print, OOH, POS), liaising with licensee marketing and designers and art directors on back-and-forth updates from all relevant parties.
- Review and approve Digital guidelines against POS to ensure brand consistency.
- Output campaigns for various markets with different requirements, including Chinese taglines.
- Liaise with internal post teams to provide support in image extension requests and image proofing.
- Work closely with the packaging designers to develop designs from approved concepts into print-ready artwork for in-house prototyping with local third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Liaising directly with graphic designers and art directors.
- Making informed technical recommendations to designers and art directors.
- Working as part of the Brand team with research and development of creative briefs.
- Creating extensive guideline documents for advertising campaigns and wider projects.
- Being involved in the communication of guideline documents to third-party agencies.
- Liaising with print management companies and printers.
- Passing print jobs on press.
- Areas of relevance: print advertising; internal/external documents; brand guidelines; formatting and editing of content for in-store; invitations; brochures; packaging.
Personal Profile
- Strong eye for detail, perfectionist attitude.
- Dedication and ability to work under pressure and not be fazed by tight deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Extensive understanding and experience of print processes and digital campaign requirements.
- A developed understanding of colour processes.
- Consideration for others and willingness to grow within the team.
- Problem-solving mentality.
- Communication and teamwork will be of huge importance for this role.
