Risk Management Intern (m/f/d) - 6 months internship, Luxembourg
The Risk management intern's missions will be in the Risk Management Department of Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg S.A. within the Operational and Climate-related & Environmental Risks Unit.
The Unit is responsible for ensuring the effective and consistent application of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework across the Bank. You will imminently have exposure to a variety of activities such as reporting, risk methodologies, tools and models, both qualitative and quantitative implemented by the Unit, while you will be interacting on a daily basis with all departments of the Bank and relevant risk departments of the Eurobank Group. Thus, you will be able to obtain valuable insights in the banking industry and the non-financial risk management practice.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Assist the Head of the Unit and closely collaborate with the Head Office in implementing a comprehensive, in line with the Group's non-financial risk management framework.
- Assist in the internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP) compilation for non-financial risks
- Participate in risk identification and materiality assessment exercise of the Bank
- Assist in preparing comprehensive risk reporting with a focus on operational risk.
- Contribute in the risk appetite monitoring and reporting for non-financial risks
- Contribute to the monitoring of the product governance lifecycle through the maintenance of the product register and the involvement in the product risk assessments
- Support the regular uplift of the non-financial risk management framework of the bank by analyzing regulatory requirements and updating risk policies and procedures.
- Assist in building a strong Non-Financial Risks culture.
- Assist in the set-up of the ESG risk management framework
- Be exposed to training opportunities and self-development.

- Own a University degree in Economics, Banking or Finance
- Have good knowledge and understanding of financial products
- Are Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Are fluent in English
- Have strong analytical, problem solving skills

- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, hands on personality and can-do attitude
