What The Role Is 💼
We're looking another Senior Product designer here at Zinc. 😎 Design at Zinc requires a broad range of skills in UX/UI and an interest in research too. You'll be working with standard B2B SaaS patterns and innovating on new patterns for proving work identity.
Design at Zinc is a wide range of customer research and interfacing with internal teams, some days you won't be looking at the canvas. You'll get full exposure to all elements of our design and product lifecycle. We're looking for an all-rounder that is skilled in both UI and UX and is excited by the idea of building out user centric product journeys.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead Feature Research & Strategy: Lead research initiatives, including user interviews and competitive analysis, to identify opportunities and ensure designs address real user pain points while aligning with business goals. 🔍
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to define and execute product designs that address both user and business needs. You'll ensure cross-functional alignment and share your insights to drive decisions. 🤝
- Drive End-to-End Design Process: Take full ownership of the design lifecycle, from ideation to delivery. Ensure that designs are scalable, user-friendly, and well integrated into Zinc's product ecosystem. 🖌️
- Design with Agility: At Zinc, things move quickly. You'll need to iterate rapidly and deliver high-quality design solutions within tight timelines, balancing speed with excellence. 🚀
- Clear Communication & Stakeholder Management: Lead design presentations and workshops, providing clear and actionable design rationales. Work directly with product teams and business stakeholders to iterate on and finalise design solutions. 📣

We appreciate the value of in person connection with colleagues and flexible working for our employees. We operate a hybrid model with 2 days a week in office, Mondays and Thursdays.

You Have 🛠️
User-Centred Research Expertise
- Extensive experience conducting user research in B2B SaaS environments to identify needs and pain points. Skilled at leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to design solutions that address real problems and drive measurable results
Advanced Design Skills 🖌️ - Proficient in creating high-fidelity, intuitive UI designs for complex B2B products. Expertise in tools like Figma or Sketch, delivering everything from initial wireframes to polished final designs aligned with user and business goals
Well-versed with Design Systems - Proven ability to develop and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency across product ecosystems while delivering cohesive user experiences
Prototyping & Interaction Design 👨🎨 - Adept at creating prototypes and interactive designs to validate concepts and iterate quickly. Skilled in tools such as Figma and InVision for rapid testing and refinement
