Job Purpose:
The Manager - Digital Products defines, executes, and executes a comprehensive digital products strategy. He/ She develops innovative digital products, ensures alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. The Manager – Digital Products drives the end-to-end product lifecycle, focusing on enhancing user experience, optimizing customer journeys, and integrating complex application architecture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Defines the product vision and plan, aligning with the organization’s digital transformation goals.
- Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
- Collaborates with stakeholders, including senior management, to align product objectives and priorities.
- Develops and manages the product roadmap, detailing features, functionality, and timelines for digital product releases.
- Leads the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning, design, testing, and roll-out.
- Ensures iterative releases, incorporating feedback to enhance features and customer experience.
- Designs seamless and intuitive customer journeys, focusing on a minimalistic approach with efficient navigation.
- Works closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the application’s interface is user-friendly and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Conducts user testing and gathers feedback to continuously refine and optimize the customer experience.
- Collaborates with IT and development teams to define application architecture, integration points, and technical requirements.
- Ensures alignment between the business requirements and the technical implementation, maintaining scalability, security, and performance standards.
- Oversees integration with core systems such as CBS, e-KYC, government services, and other third-party providers.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, facilitating communication between business units, IT, and external partners.
- Presents product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- A professional certification in Product Management (e.g. CSPO, PMC, CPM, PSPO, POPM) will be seen as an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leading Product Management and Digital Product role, with a strong focus on mobile applications and customer journey design.
- Proven experience in managing the end-to-end development of complex digital products, ideally in the financial services or banking sector.
- Experience in core banking integrations, API management, and middleware technologies.
- Excellent understanding of digital product management, application architecture, and customer experience optimization.
