Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager & Regional Sales Manager to lead and drive sales operations within an assigned territory. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing territory strategies, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring excellent customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and drive customer retention.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on promotional strategies and execute campaigns effectively.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate sales records in CRM systems.
- Regularly provide sales performance updates, forecasts, and feedback to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 8-18 years in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the medical devices sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Infection Prevention Products and healthcare industry dynamics.
- Skills:
- Sales planning and territory management
- Team leadership and performance management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
