• Manage & Follow up on the Project Contacts & Claims team to ensure proper implementation of the contracts and claims administration strategy, guidelines, policies and procedures in coordination with related staff in the site and headquarters.
• Conduct continuous evaluation of the function performance, periodic review of reports and highlight contracts and claims process improvement recommendations based on the analysis and data review.
• Support in bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required.
• Monitor bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
• Advice projects/sites of contractual rights and obligations to ensure contractual terms and conditions.
• Monitor the risk analysis for the assigned project and in submitting reports for review.
• Ensure contracts’ compliance with contractual terms and conditions and highlight any gaps.
• Audit post award activities including coordinating all contract submittals and correspondence, preparation and process variation orders and claims until project close out.
Monitor the letters to clients requesting approvals and interpretations necessary to comply with the provisions of the contract.
• Manage all claims, review analysis and supportive documentation, lead negotiations and ensure efficient claims resolution in coordination with the head office staff and Project Managers.
• Define and implement the appropriate method to be used to conduct the delay analysis based on the agreed strategy in coordination with Contracts & Claims Director and Project Managers.
• Provide required support to maintain a balanced relationship management with all internal and external business partners.
• Ensure that all the work and reports/analysis adhere to the function’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Communicate with all concerned stakeholders to gather, analyze and trace all claims to reach optimum resolutions.
• Cooperate with business entities and Projects Managers aiming to resolve all the claims with minimal need to go for arbitration.
• Manage claims and follow up through the arbitration process till the claim is resolved.
• Research and set preventive actions to enhance contracts and claims management and perform corrective actions based on the analysis, follow up and related previous experience.
• Monitor and ensure the compliance of contracts management and claims process to related country local laws and regulations.
• Ensure that employee is working as per the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.
