Job Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office by managing administrative tasks, overseeing office operations, and coordinating government relations. This role requires a strong understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures, as well as compliance with local labor and governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and productive work environment.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient office operations.
- Develop and implement office administrative procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.
Human Resources Policies and Procedures:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and local labor laws.
- Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and HR standards.
Government Relations:
- Manage relationships with government entities to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate with government agencies for business permits, licenses, and inspections.
- Stay updated on changes in government regulations that impact the institute.
Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Handle correspondence, inquiries, and reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in office management, HR administration, or government relations.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Proven experience in dealing with government agencies and managing regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office management software and tools.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
