Autumnal Partners are currently representing a leading Private Equity fund manager in their search for an FP&A specialist to join their fund finance team to prepare and develop analysis on their investment portfolio companies.
The role will be to help grow and support the finance function, including the supervision and review of the portfolio monitoring system, the work of portfolio investments, the fund administrators and ensuring that the reporting to non-executive boards and institutional investors is completed in an accurate and timely matter.
The role will be a key business partner for the Fund Controller, the Fund Managers and the wider investment team, as well as working directly with portfolio company finance functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement improvements in the management, financial and sustainability reporting from external providers and management teams across the portfolio companies;
- Assist in the production of the fund management accounts;
- Liaise with portfolio company finance teams to review reporting and other processes to ensure these meet the requirements of the funds;
- Undertake performance analysis of current and potential investments by assisting in the creation and maintenance of investment valuation and fund return models, including the monitoring of capital structures and detailed waterfall analysis;
Applicants should be qualified accountants, ideally trained in practice with a minimum of 1 years post qualification experience outside of practice. You will have financial modelling capability, good working knowledge of accounting standards and experience in analysis of large data sets.
