Job Description
We are seeking a Global Head of Marketing to join our Global Marketing & Communications team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our global marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives, and driving growth across our global network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and accelerate business growth through targeted marketing, lead generation, thought leadership, and customer engagement strategies.
- Develop a clear vision and marketing strategies, including a thought leadership agenda, to increase brand awareness and positioning across target markets, industries, and audiences globally.
- Drive marketing automation strategies to improve the productivity and effectiveness of marketing programs.
- Oversee the marketing function, including team leadership, resource allocation, and departmental strategy.
- Establish a knowledge management strategy to ensure global content consistency and robust brand management.
- Communicate and implement the marketing plan to deliver powerful, clear messages about our business values and strategies, fostering employee engagement.
- Create and manage integrated marketing and advertising campaigns to support networking, relationship-building, and partnership initiatives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify demand, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing global marketing team, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with regional and country teams to align global strategies and identify synergies.
- Lead global initiatives such as market readiness assessments, thought leadership strategies, PR/event best practices, and emerging market strategies.
- Engage with business unit and sector leaders to develop impactful, cost-efficient processes and tools for growth.
- Develop demand generation programs, including go-to-market strategies and implementation plans.
- Optimize the marketing technology stack, ensuring its effective use and adoption.
- Build relationships across the organization and with external partners to support global sales and lead generation efforts.
- Identify customer profiles, audience segments, and their journeys to inform product packaging and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing and communication strategies for complex, diverse organizations.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, partners, and clients.
- Deep understanding of the media and advertising landscape, including trends and opportunities.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- A creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure while adapting to changing priorities.
- Solution-focused and proactive, with the ability to prioritize, escalate issues, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
