Job Title: Accountant cum Administration Officer

Location: Hybrid (Dubai-based, UAE)

Reporting to: Director of Finance

Work Arrangement: Part-time (Approx. 100 hours/month or three days a week), occasional office visits as required

Job Summary:

A self-driven Accountant cum Administration Officer to manage essential accounting functions and provide administrative support. This role offers flexibility to work from home while handling critical accounting, payroll, and administrative responsibilities for a Hotel chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and numerical skills and be comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Tasks:

Maintain accurate financial records, including handling accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
Reconcile bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Payroll Management:

Process payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and regulations
Maintain employee payroll records and handle payroll-related inquiries
Calculate employee benefits, deductions, and other payroll elements
Ensure timely submission of payroll reports and tax filings.

Compliance & Reporting:

Stay informed of changes in accounting and payroll regulations
Prepare and file financial reports with relevant authorities as needed

General Administrative Support:

Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
Provide administrative support to the finance department and employees on payroll-related queries

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in accounting and payroll processing
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Availability to report to the office as needed (once a week or every fortnight)
You have to have your Own Visa / Own Sponsorship
