Job Description:

As an Accountant at Al Haditha Energy, you will support our financial operations by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with policies. Your role will be essential in maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and helping with ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy Compliance: Follow finance and accounting policies in all tasks.
Transaction Processing: Record revenue and expenses and prepare payments and receipts in the ERP system.
Reconciliation: Complete reconciliations and record entries accurately and on time.
Financial Closing: Help with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.
Audit Support: Maintain organized documentation for audits and provide necessary information.
Policy Improvement: Contribute to refining finance and accounting policies.
Fixed Assets Management: Maintain accurate fixed asset records and handle depreciation runs.
Tax & VAT: Assist with tax and VAT record-keeping and compliance.
Team Support: Help other finance team members and assist with ERP implementation.

Principal Accountabilities:

Accuracy: Ensure accurate recording of all financial data.
Audit Readiness: Keep records organized and ready for audits.
ERP Implementation: Support the ERP system setup and use.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
Experience: 0-3 years in accounting, preferably in the energy sector.

Skills:

Core Skills: Attention to detail, clear communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting software, tax regulations, and ERP systems.
