As Business Controller Product Company LEWA Middle East FZE, you will take a key role in the control and guidance of our company’s financial results, including forecasting, analysis, and providing support to the General Manager. You will be working closely with the General Manager and management team to ensure that Business Control is aligned with the organization’s strategy and its current and long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

University Degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business administration or similar through experience.

Minimum 5 years of senior finance/ equivalent managerial position.

Strong understanding of UAE local regulation.

Your Role

Ensure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with Atlas Copco's "The Way We Do Things" and UAE statutory regulation.
Manage group reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data in the GPS system, in line with internal and external reporting standards.
Manage revenue recognition using the Percentage of Completion (POC) method for projects, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Track project costs and progress, ensuring accurate revenue recognition as work is completed, and monitor project budgets, risks, and profitability.
Regularly review product margins, identify variances, and collaborate with the process owner to address them.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements across manufacturing operations.
Develop, implement, and maintain reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes that align with divisional goals, contributing to business strategies and targets.
Collaborate with management to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide tools and analysis to support management in achieving business targets and streamline financial processes to improve reporting efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Enforce internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Lead financial audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and address compliance concerns through corrective action plans.
Experience with ICV (In-Country Value) audits will be advantageous.
Must have a strong understanding of UAE corporate tax, VAT, ESR, and other relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
Familiarity with Indian regulatory requirements and Indian accounting standards is preferred.
Contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy by integrating environmental, social, and economic considerations into financial decision-making.
