The Outpatients Department is a busy and diverse area with specialties including, ENT, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Heamatology, Cardiology, Diabetes and Endocrine, Rheumatology, Vascular, Neurology and Urology. You will be expected to be self motivated and able to work under own initiative, have excellent time management skills, highly developed communication and people management skills and the ability to manage change.

The Registered Nurse post is a vital and valued role to support in providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patient/clients and their families/carers . Based on a ward or unit setting you work closely with the department / ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the ward or unit setting.
