In order to strengthen our Communication team, we are looking to hire a Brand Development Manager, based in Maranello (Italy). We are looking for someone with passion, experience, and in-depth understanding of brand, corporate design, design guideline creation and application, and project management. These skills will help us strengthen the consistency and equity of the iconic Ferrari brand.
This manager will serve as a guardian of our brand and provide design guidance across a variety of projects spanning the business. They will also lead their own brand-driven projects, executed creatively and strategically in ways that strengthen the brands equity with internal and agency partners. This job is focused on creating consistency across all parts of this large and dynamic business - it gives our future manager the opportunity to learn and flex the full range of their managerial, strategic, and creative skills.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Creating, or inputting on, new design-driven guidelines across a variety of channels across Lifestyle, Sportscars, and Racing souls of the business – using our internal and agency resources. This will include: event guidelines, racing guidelines, dealership guidelines, and more.
- Collaboration on cross-department projects that will require your brand & design input & guardianship to ensure an on-brand and consistent experience and look/feel. Projects can span across: Racing (ex: hospitality experience and design, and racing events); Lifestyle (ex: museums content and theme park guidelines application); Marketing projects (sport cars/client events and dealerships design and content)
- Leadership of brand specific projects, such as creating brand-driven video and static assets for different events and digital platform; design of office buildings / rooms & wayfinding; creation of printed collateral, books, cards, templates, etc.
- Collection of racing touchpoints at key points during the year to review and align on their look and feel with key stakeholders.
Required Profile
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results and you will have gained at least 5 - 7+ years dedicated experience in communication field.
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think cross-channel and categorically, are detail and process-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Fluent English is required.
