Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of stock movements including Stock IN and Stock OUT transactions.
Update and manage Excel spreadsheets to track inventory levels and stock on hand.
Conduct regular stock takes to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Manage tagging and documentation for all incoming and outgoing goods.
Operational Coordination:
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and receipt of goods.
Facilitate the re-packaging and tagging of goods after inspection and quality assurance.
Prepare and process necessary documentation for goods returns, repairs, and scrap items.
Customer Order Management:
Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accurate product selection and availability.
Prepare goods for delivery and arrange necessary documentation for shipment.
Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections of diamonds and other gemstones to verify authenticity and quality.
Ensure proper documentation and tagging of certified diamonds and luxury watches.
Facilitate re-tagging and re-documentation processes as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive logs and records of all transactions and operational activities.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational efficiency.
Assist in financial reconciliations related to gold and diamond inventory.
Team Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate effectively with other departments including purchasing, sales, and repairs.
Support branch teams with stock taking activities and operational queries.
Assist in training new staff on inventory management protocols and procedures.
