The incumbent will Lead Contracts Management / Administration for all projects at the Business Unit Level and assist project teams in the justification of variations, claims and their resolution .Advise project team on all contractual matters to protect the company's entitlements and minimize contractual risks. Th position will also be responsible for ensuring compliance during tendering as well as execution phases by liaising with project teams in making them aware of important contractual rights and obligation.
Job Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of contractual provisions and industry norms / standards.
- Review, evaluate and advise on contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and contract risk management framework throughout the contract lifecycle namely Pre-Award, Award, Post - Award.
- Proficiency in managing contractual documentation and dispute resolution processes.
- Build valid narratives for claims on behalf of the Business Unit establishing entitlement.
- Review and advise on Variations and Extension of Time cases.
- Assist in updating risk register against high-risk contractual clauses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering OR Law Graduate.
- Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Industrial, Oil & Gas and Engineering Sector, preferably Contractors side with proven expertise in Contract Management.
- Candidate with Middle East exposure shall be given preference.
