A. Job Purpose: Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for our distillery plant. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of VFD drives, compressor mechanisms, chillers (refrigeration), and sensors. Candidate should be able to comprehend complex project plans and execute electrical planning accordingly. This role requires leadership to manage a team of electricians, handle electrical maintenance, ensure smooth operations and consistent reporting to its head of department.
B. Key Responsibility Area (KRA):
1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
· Resolve issues with VFDs, compressors, chillers, and sensors.
· Conduct regular maintenance to minimize downtime.
2. Leadership & Supervision:
· Lead a team of two electricians, providing guidance and training.
· Coordinate with other departments to meet electrical needs.
· Oversee and execute advance level of electrical planning in new and ongoing projects.
3. Installation & Upgrades:
· Oversee new electrical equipment installation and system upgrades.
· Improve system efficiency and reliability.
4. Safety & Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
· Conduct safety inspections and address hazards.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
· Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
· Report system performance to management.
C. Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
D. Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
E. Required Competencies:
· Technical proficiency, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
· Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
