Experience : 5-9 Years
Solidworks or Pro/E or Catia or Unigraphics - One of the CAD software working experience
Qualification - B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering / M.Tech or MS in Mechanical
Skills & Competencies:
- Mechanical engineer have working experience in Mechanical product/Electromechanical products design and development
- Have hands design experience in the design of Plastic parts, Sheet metal, Die-casting, and Machined parts
- Have good knowledge of Plastic material and Sheetmetal materials and the selection of materials
- Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using SolidWorks or equivalent tool
- Have experience in Seals and O-rings design
- Strong Knowledge of GD&T - tolerance analysis at sub-system/system level
- Develop proto parts, build system & identify the issues and address issues in short period of time
- Have working knowledge of Injection tools, process, Pressure die-casting, and secondary processes like plating, anodization, and Painting/powder coating
- Review part design with suppliers, get manufacturability and ensure part design meet manufacturing requirements
- Have experience in Finet Element Analysis (FEA) will be an advantage
- Have Knowledge of standards like IEC60601-1 and ISTA (Packaging testing)
- It would be good, worked on NPI (New product introduction or Development)
