Compliance Officer - for MNSPC

We are currently looking to hire a “Compliance Officer”, the job holder will be responsible to support and operate in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, organizational compliance norms, and Munich Re group standards and norms related to governance, compliance, financial crime, sanctions, and Anti Money Laundering (AML).
Your Job:
· The Compliance Officer will be responsible for the identification and assessment of all relevant compliance risks within MedNet SPC entity and for providing suitable and sufficient controls to address those risks.
· The Compliance Officer must work closely with the MedNet Head of Compliance and Munich Re Regional Legal.
· Ensuring all MedNet’s regulatory and legal requirements are identified, understood and met and there is a monitoring program in place for compliance against such requirements: Licensing, company laws, TPA, AML, Financial crime & Data protection.
· Implementation and monitoring of the Compliance Management System as per MedNet Compliance Policy.
· Promoting and living a sound compliance culture by acting with integrity and providing an environment of openness, accessibility, and transparency to enable continuous improvement.
· Maintain, monitor and update the AML, Sanctions and Financial Crime Manual and any supporting procedures and processes ensuring they are in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Act as a responsible and responsive officer for Board governance and compliance topics MedNet SPC within the COs area of responsibility.
· Assist with preparing for the Board Meetings to meet legal and regulatory requirements, and to ensure that legal and compliance risks and reporting are properly included, and follow-up tasks are completed if required by the Board.
· Support each entity as required in preparation from GAudit activities and be a point of contact if required during GAudit and support as necessary with the closure of measures to resolve audit findings.
· Establish and maintain good relationships with Regulators.
Your profile:
· Bachelor’s degree in law or any other relevant field.
· Diplomas or professional certification in Compliance and / or Anti Money Laundering an advantage.
· Ability to pass a Fit & Proper assessment by the Regulator (where required).
· Experience in Health Insurance regulations and applicable laws.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance and regulatory business affairs within health insurance or a comparable sector.
· Experience in dealing with regulators as well as higher management levels would be an advantage.
· Knowledge of governance and compliance management systems and processes.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
