Position: Firefighter
Location: Oman
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Fighter to join our team. Applicants must meet the following qualifications and requirements and be currently available and residing in Oman.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Fire & Safety from an approved college.
- Certified in:
- Hazmat Awareness
- Firefighter I
- Rope and Confined Space Rescue
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Wearer Course
- Valid Heavy Vehicle License to operate fire engines.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken, read, and written).
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in emergency response within the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical sector.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in operating firefighting, rescue, and medical equipment.
- Knowledge of:
- Firefighting and rescue methods.
- Emergency medical care (First Aider certification preferred; American Heart Foundation is a plus).
- Process safety and process flow fundamentals.
- Maintenance of firefighting and safety equipment.
