To attend daily briefings and departmental meetings.
To develop knowledge of Food & Beverage and all facilities, including detailed menu and wine knowledge, size and capacities of function areas and restaurants, in order to advise and assist clients/ potential clients as appropriate.
To respond to business enquiries promptly identify the needs of clients/ potential clients’ accurately and efficiently, ensuring every effort is made to secure the business and including confirmation of booking.
To take every opportunity to up sell and add on sell to maximize revenue and meet all clients’ needs, fully.
To liaise with Head Chef regarding function menus and special requirements.
To prepare client function sheets accurately and promptly, ensuring details are communicated to all those concerned.
To maintain contact with the client leading to and during their event in order to exceed the client’s expectations.
To invite client feedback at every opportunity in order to recommend improvements to the operations.
To respond to client queries or complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring that mutually agreeable solutions are reached at the earliest convenient time and ensuring that decisions are made at the appropriate level.
To keep the Events Executive informed of client’s problems and actions taken.
To send events promotions pro-actively throughout the year in order to generate new potential business opportunities.
To ensure all health and safety procedures are followed to ensure the safety of functions/ events and to prevent accidents or injury to the Club’s clients and employees, reporting hazards or potential hazards including maintenance requirements.
