We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the MEP industry in the UAE, with a strong understanding of the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP systems. The MEP Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that all MEP work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Coordination:
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Manage and oversee the work of MEP technicians, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting.
- Installation & Commissioning:
- Ensure proper installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Monitor the quality and workmanship of all MEP installations.
- Verify that all systems are functioning correctly as per design specifications and standards.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Ensure that all MEP work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Perform regular inspections and report any discrepancies or issues to the Project Manager.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily work logs and ensure that all MEP-related documents (such as material requisitions, inspection reports, and safety checks) are updated and filed.
- Report any delays or challenges to the project management team and propose solutions.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and resolve any technical issues.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support as needed.
